Welcome to the Igboville Singles.

 If you’re honest, kind and respectful to others, you’ll always be welcome here. If you choose not to be, you may not last. Our goal is to allow users to express themselves freely as long as it doesn’t offend others. We hold everyone to the same standard. We’re asking you to be considerate, think before you act. Abide by our community guidelines both on and offline. You heard that right: Your offline behavior can lead to the termination of your Igboville Singles account.

Below is a list of our community policies. If you violate any of these rules, you might be banned from Igboville Singles. Seriously, don’t make us break up with you — because there will be no apologies or second chances once we do.

We encourage you to report any behavior that violates our policies. Please read up on our Safety Tips too.

User Registration

  1. You must be 18 years of age or older to use Igboville Singles. If you see a profile that includes a minor, encourages harm to a minor or depicts a minor in a sexual or suggestive way, please report it immediately.
  2. Members must register with their full names, town, and state in Nigeria, mobile phone numbers, and valid email addresses.
  3. In addition to email verification, administrators will verify the identity of members by phone.
  4. Igboville Singles accounts cannot have multiple owners, so don’t create an account with your friend. Additionally, please don’t maintain multiple accounts. One Person, One Account
  5. Igboville Singles allows only two photos; a full face and a full body. Please keep them classy and appropriate for public consumption. No nudity or sexually explicit content. Keep it clean

Discussion Group Etiquette

  1. Treat all users and colleagues fairly and equally.
  2.  Stimulate conversation, be respectful of others’ views, and refrain from personal attacks
  3.  All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive or illegal material is strictly prohibited. 
  4. Do not engage, or encourage others to engage, in any targeted abuse or harassment against any other user. This includes sending any unsolicited sexual content to your matches. Reports of stalking, threats, bullying or intimidation are taken very seriously. 
  1. Don’t publicly broadcast any private information, whether yours or anyone else’s. This includes social security numbers, passports, passwords, financial information or unlisted contact information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, and home/work addresses.
  2. Discriminatory, hostile, or intimidating messages or language will not be tolerated, whether based on a person’s social or economic class, educational level, sex, age, size, family status, political belief, religion, or mental or physical ability
  3.  Soliciting other users is prohibited. It’s fine to invite your matches to something that you’re doing, but if the purpose of your profile is to advertise your event or business, non-profit, political campaign, contest, or conduct research, we have the right to delete your account. 
  1. Promoting or advocating for commercial sexual services, human trafficking or other non-consensual sexual acts is strictly prohibited and will result in your account being banned immediately.
  2.  We have a zero-tolerance policy on predatory behavior of any kind. Anyone attempting to get other users’ private information for fraudulent or illegal activity may be banned.
  3.  Any user caught sharing their own financial account information (PayPal, Venmo, etc.) for the purpose of receiving money from other users may also be banned from Igboville Singles.
  1.  Igboville Singles will strive to create and maintain a community in which people of many different backgrounds are treated with respect.
  2.  Be mindful and respectful of our diverse academic background – while the language for online for a discussions is mostly English (unless otherwise specified), remember that not everybody is a professor of English.
    Be yourself! Don’t pretend to be someone else.
  3. Do not impersonate, or otherwise misrepresent affiliation, connection or association with any person or entity. Don’t be fake. Be real instead.
  1. Don’t use Igboville Singles to drive people to external websites via a link or otherwise. Do not spam several lists or groups with the same message.
  2. Use caution when discussing products, and don’t publicly post commercial messages.
    Remember that information posted on the lists and in the libraries is available for all members to see, and your posts or comments are subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws.
  3. Respect legitimate intellectual property rights, do not plagiarize work. Give credit to the originators of ideas. Be mindful to read any disclaimer and legal rules regarding the copyright ownership of information posted. If it’s not yours, don’t post it.
